FPP Florida School

This June I attended a week long photography workshop run by the Florida Professional Photographers, the state professional photography guild. I had been waiting all year to attend this workshop. I first learned of it when I joined the local Gainesville guild and knew I had to attend.

The class I attended was called “Taking Control of Light.” We were taught the basics of in studio portrait lighting, including light ratios, lighting patterns, and basics in posing. Some of it was new, some of it was a refresher from this I learned a long time ago.

Here’s a few images of what we shot in class and a few candids of the class and our teacher, Bruce Evenson.
